Choose whether memberships should be billed dynamically or always on the 1st of the month.
In YOGO, you can easily decide whether memberships should be billed based on the purchase date (e.g., on the 14th of each month), or whether payments should always be processed on the 1st of the month.
-
Default setting (dynamic):
If a member purchases a membership on, for example, the 14th of the month, the next payment date is automatically set to the 14th of the following month.
-
Option: Billing always on the 1st of the month
If you want all memberships to be billed on the 1st of each month, you can activate this in YOGO Admin → “Settings” → “Memberships” by simply ticking the box “Memberships renew on the 1st of the month.”
-
If someone then signs up on, for example, the 14th, YOGO will automatically charge a pro-rated amount for the period from the 14th until the end of the month. From the 1st of the next month, the full amount will then be charged.
-
Can existing dynamic memberships be switched to the 1st-of-month billing?
No problem! Once you activate the option above, YOGO automatically adjusts all existing memberships—depending on when the next payment is due.
Example:
If a payment is due on the 10th of the month, YOGO will automatically calculate a pro-rated amount for the remaining days until the end of the month. From the following month onward, billing will then take place regularly on the 1st.
✨ With just one click, YOGO handles the entire changeover—simple, efficient, and fully automated. 🙌
