How to create and manage videos and video groups in YOGO

Everything about Vimeo integration and creating videos and video groups

Before you can start managing your videos in YOGO, you need to create an account on Vimeo (Starter, Standard, or Advanced), which is the video account platform integrated into the YOGO system.

1. Create an account on Vimeo -must be a paid version: https://vimeo.com/upgrade-plan

2. Upload videos to the account. Eventually start with 2 or 3 videos for the testing phase.

Next, you can start connecting your videos to your YOGO admin account.

1. Go to your YOGO admin -> 'Video' and click on 'Connect to Vimeo' and then 'Allow'. Once you have connected your YOGO and Vimeo accounts, the videos you have uploaded will appear in the VIDEO menu in YOGO admin.

2. Now click on 'Restrict to YOGO' to make the videos private (on the far right) under videos.

3. Go to 'Video Groups' and create the groups for your videos. For example, if you have a group of videos that should only be available to customers with a certain type of membership, set your video groups to the relevant memberships, access cards, and/or events.

4. Go back to the 'Video' menu, click on the individual videos, and place them in the desired video group. Click 'Save' after you have added the video to a video group.

5. The videos are now available for members, cardholders, and/or participants either:

a) On the homepage of their customer profile ✅.

b) On your website through our video widget (if it is installed on your website) ✅.

6. To display a video group directly on the website, go to 'Video Groups', scroll to the right on the list with the video group, and click on 'Copy code'.

7. Paste the code on your website where you want the video group to be displayed ✅.

💡 Good to know

  • You can only assign prices at the video group level.
So if you want to give access to a single video, you need to place that video in its own video group.
  • For technical reasons, video access is always tied to the validity period of the access card (or class series / membership) — not to the number of points on a class pass.
To explain: if a class pass is used and there’s an internet interruption, the point may still be deducted, even if the video hasn’t been fully watched.
  • If you want to offer a video for a specific period of time (e.g. one day), it’s best to use a time-based class pass.
Make sure the card is active — meaning you should not select “Class passes start on the date of the first booking”. You can also manually activate the time-based class pass if needed.
