In YOGO, you can create discount codes that can be specified for individual memberships, specific prices, or set to apply to all. You can also control, for example, how many membership payments the discount should apply to.
Go to Discount Codes
In the left menu, click “Discount Codes”, then click “Create Discount Code.”
Enter the Code Name
Type in the actual code — this is what the customer will use.
👉 Tip: You can use both uppercase and lowercase letters — they’re treated the same (e.g. YOGO and yogo are identical).
Choose the Discount Type
From the “Type” dropdown menu, choose between:
-
Discount in % (e.g. 10% off)
-
Discount in DKK (a fixed amount in kroner)
-
100% discount = free (automatically selected if you enter 100% in the discount field)
Enter the Discount Rate
Type the desired discount value (e.g. 10 for 10%).
Select What the Discount Applies To
In the “Applies to” field, choose which type of memberships the code can be used for (e.g. all memberships or a specific type).
Advanced Restrictions (optional)
You can add usage limits for the discount code:
✅ Applies to a specific number of membership payments
For example, set the discount to apply only to the first payment.
✅ Valid for membership sign-up fees
If the discount should cover the sign-up fee (e.g. 100 DKK at registration).
✅ Maximum uses per customer
Specify how many times each customer can use the discount code.
✅ Maximum number of customers
Limit how many unique customers can use the discount code.
Availability
✅ Check “Can be used now” if the code should be active immediately.
Create the Discount Code
Click the blue “Create” button — the discount code is now active and ready to use.
