If you have open facilities where students can drop in throughout the day, you can use the 'Open Gym' feature.
On YOGO check-in, where customers can also check in for classes, there will be a QR code that students scan with their phones if it is activated. If they have the app, they only need to confirm the check-in.
Setting up Open Gym in YOGO admin
1. Go to YOGO admin > 'Settings' > 'Open Gyms'.
2. Click the little '+' in the top right corner.
3. Give your 'Gym' a name.
4. Select the room where the training will take place.
5. Set opening hours for when the gym is open for training.
6. Click 'Save' ✅.
7. BONUS: If you want to edit the times for your Open Gym later, you can do it under admin > settings > open gyms.
Grant memberships access to your Open Gym
1. Go to YOGO admin > 'Prices' > click on the memberships that should give access to your gym, one at a time.
2. Scroll down to 'Gives access to Open Gyms' and select the gym to be linked to the membership.
3. Click 'Save' ✅.
Preparing Open Gym in the studio
1. We recommend using an iPad or similar device that can hang in the studio.
2. The first time, go to yourstudio.yogo.dk/checkin (replace yourstudio with your YOGO client domain). Contact us if you are unsure what it is.
3. Then add to the home screen:
- IOS: Click the little square with an arrow up > 'Add to Home Screen'
- Android: Click the button with the three small dots > 'Add to Home Screen'
4. The next time check-in opens, it will open as an app without the address bar visible.
5. In the morning, when the first instructor arrives, the instructor logs in with their instructor login, and a QR code will be displayed on the check-in module ✅.
Customer use of Open Gym
1. When a customer arrives at the studio, they just need to open the camera on their phone, which will take them to their customer login (if they have clicked 'Remember me on this device', they will be directed automatically. If the studio has purchased the app, it will open automatically).
2. They then need to click 'Check-in', and the customer is registered ✅.
